World AMR Awareness Week 2026 - Campaign Guide

Overview

Get involved in WAAW 2026: The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), collectively known as the Quadripartite, have jointly developed this campaign guide to support World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) 2026. Under the theme “One Health, one action: Prevent AMR now,” the guide provides key information and practical resources to help stakeholders across sectors participate in the global campaign and take action to prevent antimicrobial resistance (AMR). It includes guidance on the campaign theme, stakeholder actions, social media resources and access to multilingual communication materials.
